The buildings designed by R&Sie(n) have many facets – but not always facades. At times they are as light as textiles, give multi-storey car parks dynamic vibrations or seem as strange as bacterium that has been enlarged a million time under an electron microscope. The studio has been causing confusion for over 20 years now, and not only with its cryptic name. The founding members conceal their faces behind a computer-generated fantasy. For the current edition of “Crystal Talk”, the series of interviews by Swarovski in collaboration with BauNetz.de our author Norman Kietzmann visited their laboratory in Paris.
