Elizabeth Diller and her two partners Ricardo Scofidio and Charles Renfro have no intention of making a decision between art and architecture – they are researchers, their studio is a laboratory for alternative construction concepts and at the same time a field of experimentation for media art. In the current edition of “Crystal Talk“, the series of interviews by Swarovski in collaboration with BauNetz.de, Elizabeth Diller provides an insight into the way the New York artists of construction work.
